Hello

I'm Bryan Caniedo
Software Engineer Graduate (S2025)

About Me.

I consider myself to be a jack of all trades. I've had various experiences at different jobs in both software and hardware. Although I don't consider myself a leader, people find me affable, and because of this, I've led projects and teams at work and in college/university.

When I’m not at my computer, I enjoy spending my time at the gym, organizing events, cooking, bouldering, learning new languages, travelling, exploring creative and artistic projects, and playing the guitar or piano.

Impactful Experiences

Hope on Welfare Avenue.

As the first Canadian interns at Adaptavist, I had the privilege of organizing a charity event that brought leaders from various departments together to make a tangible difference in our community. I contacted the founder of Welfare Avenue to explain that we wanted to make a difference near the holidays, and the rest is history—proof that teamwork and compassion can create lasting change.

See an article written about the event here.

Judge At Fusion Jeunesse.

After teaching children about basic algorithms and robotics, I had the team prepare for the competition in which they were to demonstrate their robots powered with motors. The competition was a collaboration of Youth Fusion × LEGO × Amazon.

Beyond Work.

Outside of my professional career, I have pursued a variety of personal projects that reflect my creativity, passion, and drive to make an impact beyond the workplace. These projects have allowed me to explore new skills, collaborate with others, and contribute to meaningful initiatives.

My Wedding Website.

Instead of hiring a developer, I designed and built a fully responsive static website for my wedding. I implemented custom animations (sliders, parallax, fades), an RSVP system linked to Google Sheets, and a dynamic, mobile-friendly layout.

Android Wordle-Like Appplication Personal Project.

I developed an Android application featuring a dictionary-based Wordle game with French and English dictionaries. The app selects a random word based on the chosen language and challenges users to guess it.

Android App Disaster Defenders

My team and I at ÉTS created an application to help users locate emergency shelters using an API-based map system. We implemented various login options, real-time data tracking, and an interactive UI for improved usability.
